Fashion: A Way of Life

I have been thinking of starting my own store when I get older. A store for every size of women, a store that is reasonably priced (literally, not just saying it for business) and gives the buyer a sense of self. I truly believe in the idea that clothing says more then the mouth is capable of, and can make you feel more emotion then any other person can say. Photography is my main inspiration, along with:
-Abstract Photos
-The 40's
-Spring time
-The wonderful city of Paris
-Native Americans
-Nature
-Individuality

A little all over the place, right? The store will go through phases, or "blocks." It will not  follow typical styles of the moment, but at the same time will capture glimpses of current "in" pieces. I don't want my customers to be abercrombie-loving, ugg-boot-worshipping teenage girls. The customers will be anywhere from 13-30 year olds, or so that is my aim. As Kit from Project Runway Season 4 said, "Life is too short to have on a bad outfit." As you can see from the picture above left, nature causes me to feel inspired. I look at the reflection of the water, and how the peaches blend with the pale blues to fluently. The last thing I want my clothes to be in "tacky." They will be for women with typical budgets, but with larger ideas of acceptable image. Again, I do not feel like I have enough knowledge in this field, so I listen to others who have achieved in fashion. Austin Scarlett said, "I feel like I was put on this Earth to give beauty back." That basically sums up why I fell in love with the fashion world. I want to make a statement. Not for me, but for all of the girls and women who were always told they were ugly. Or too fat. Or got laughed at for how they looked. My store will be for those women.

Here are some pictures I have on my inspiration board when I sketch:

The way these colors blend are beautiful.

The 40's. The women empowerment and the simplistic beauty of the clothing captures me.

I love the tiered look of this dress. It is very "flowy", and feminine.

Ah, Paris. Romance and glee. The architecture of the Eiffel Tower is engaging to say the least.
